FAQS
SIZING
I’ve found the piece I want but can’t select my size.
If there isn't a drop menu to select your ring size its because I make that particular piece to order in your custom size. Just leave a note in the comments on check out.
How can I find out my ring size?
With out a doubt the best way to determine your ring size is to have your local jeweller measure you up.
There are alternative ways to find out your size although not 100% accurate. Try using a 5mm wide strip of paper and measure the finger by wrapping it around the base. You then take that length to work out your size. You can use this conversion chart to convert your measurement.
If you have ordered a piece in the wrong size I may be able to resize it for you. Some designs are harder to resize then others. A resizing fee of $50 will be charged as a minimum for simple resizing jobs. A larger fee may be charged for more complex size alterations.
BASIC CARE
How do I look after my Halo & Hurt piece?
Each of our pieces are unique and designed to age well. However the ageing process can be redefined by taking care of your Halo & Hurt piece.
I personally live, work, shower and sleep in my jewellery and I tend design and make pieces to live this loved life, aging in all ways well worn jewellery should.
Should you wish to prolong the 'freshly polished' look of your pieces there are some simple practices you can employ to maintain it. Remove your jewellery while showering and avoid soaps and lotions. Salt water as well as chlorinated water can also speed up the ageing process so swimming in your jewellery is not recommended. Silver will tarnish over time but you can usually remove it with a silver cloth.
We believe best practice to care for your jewellery is to delicately clean your Halo & Hurt piece's in warm, soapy water taking extra care of the stones.
Treatment & care for gold plated items.
All our gold plated items have been plated with a 24ct plating solution over sterling silver. Over time this surface will fade exposing the silver. Following the care instructions will slow this down but plating is a surface treatment that will need touching up after some time. Unfortunately we cant accept returns of damaged pieces that have not had the proper care given to them. Fear not! We do offer a plating touch up for a $50.00 fee, with free return postage.

RETURNS WARRANTY
What warranty do you offer on my pieces?
I offer a 12 month warranty on all my pieces. The 12 month warranty will cover you for any faults with the craftsmanship, but I do express the right to view the fault before accepting your claim.
All you will need to do is send a picture of the fault with a brief description via email for review before posting the item to the HQ. You will need to pay postage cost however we will express ship your repaired item free of charge.
If the fault or damage of your piece is not due to our craftsmanship we can repair it for you at a cost that will be determined once we have established what needs doing.
As always wear and tear of the piece is not considered a 'manufacturing' fault. Breakages from normal wear can occur at no fault of our craftsmanship. Stones are especially delicate and easily susceptible to damage so for gods sake LOVE YOUR PIECE! and handle it with CARE at all times. Have a quiz at our 'Basic Care' section above or have a chat with us about what might be best for your piece.
Due to the labor involved with crafting custom orders the sale is final and those pieces are ineligible for return or refund unless faulty upon arrival. But as all customs are made with epic amounts of love you can check in with us and we might just buy it back.
